Schmalz continues to grow – in Czechia

Schmalz is now responsible for the sales of its products in Czechia itself. To do this, the company has established a subsidiary in the eastern part of the country. Dr. Aleš Havránek will take over the management.

Fabulous 29: Since mid-October 2022, the Schmalz family has been represented at 29 locations. On the 19th of the month, J. Schmalz GmbH founded a new subsidiary in Hranice na Moravě. With Schmalz s.r.o., the vacuum expert is taking the sales of its extensive portfolio in Czechia into its own hands.

The development and management of the new location is the responsibility of Dr. Aleš Havránek. The 47-year-old graduate engineer has already successfully supported the development of companies in Czechia and gained experience as a managing director on site: he was head of the competence center and vice president of the Czech branch of a German logistics company, and until 2018, he led two Swiss industrial companies in Czechia that manufacture systems and components for industrial automation, control, and safety. "We are very pleased to have been able to recruit Dr. Aleš Havránek for this important position. He is well connected in the fields of intralogistics, logistics, and automation, and will support us optimally on our path to internationalization," says Dr. Kurt Schmalz, managing partner of J.
