Efficient and ergonomic – Vacuum expert Schmalz presents clever solutions for intralogistics at LogiMAT 2025 (March 11-13, Stuttgart). At booth C05 in Hall 7, grippers and lifting aids are in focus, supporting professionals and robots in picking and conveying tasks effectively.

In March, the focus at LogiMAT – the international trade fair for intralogistics solutions and process management – is on new technologies for warehousing, material flow, transportation, and robotics. Several product highlights are showcased by vacuum expert Schmalz at the booth.

Flexible, strong, and safe gripping

The matrix panel gripper FMG is compact and modular. It is excellent for gripping flat and predominantly vacuum-tight workpieces in various shapes and sizes. It can also securely pick up and place entire product layers as well as very thin components. Users can thus easily automate high-mix, low-volume processes, for example in pick-and-place applications. Additional modules can be added if needed.

Another highlight is the FQE-V gripper, designed by Schmalz for handling workpieces in automation technology. With the modular, freely scalable system, different-sized and shaped workpieces can be handled safely. Users benefit from particularly fast gripper configuration thanks to smart design tools, especially for lot sizes of 1.

The finger gripper mGrip in hygienic design meets the highest cleanliness standards. Thanks to its flexibility and adaptability, it can precisely and gently handle sensitive objects such as baked goods. It is ideal for automated packaging processes, such as picking small parts into nets or bags. Also on display at the booth is the bin picker SBPG. This autonomous box-handling assistant enables the removal of components from containers, optimizing material flow in production.

The sack gripper PSSG is a lightweight powerhouse with a special feature: the robust sealing lip guarantees a very long service life. Schmalz developed it specifically for handling sacks, allowing heavy loads to be moved safely and efficiently. The combination of vacuum technology and an intelligent gripping mechanism makes the PSSG an ideal solution for logistics centers and manufacturing plants.

Proven improvements

JumboFlex has been the first choice for many years when it comes to moving workpieces weighing up to 50 kilograms. Schmalz demonstrates that there is always room for improvement with the re-design of the vacuum hose lifter. It is now even more intuitive to operate and ergonomically designed – the handle fits perfectly in every hand. Its flexible handling ensures optimal use in modern manufacturing.
