SCHILLING ENGINEERING expands company

On an area of 12,000 square meters, the building complex of SCHILLING ENGINEERING GmbH is presented.

The SCHILLING ENGINEERING GmbH in Wütösingen is considered one of the leading specialists in cleanroom technology. The company has long since made a name for itself on international markets under Günther Schilling and continues to expand. With the operational expansion to a total area of 12,000 square meters, the company has achieved another milestone and is looking to the future.

The company's steady growth is based on a forward-looking concept. SCHILLING ENGINEERING offers an extensive and innovative product range. The company is flexible. "We can adapt quickly to the market," says Günther Schilling. Always staying one step ahead is the motto. The order books are full, and sales are steadily increasing. Over time, the operation literally outgrew its previous space. Therefore, an expansion was decided upon. The expansion of resources was urgently necessary to make the company fit for the future. The company invested around five million euros in the renovation and new construction.

The construction was completed in nearly record time. After the groundbreaking in autumn 2015, it took only about half a year before the new spaces could be occupied. Architects, the Goldbeck company, and local craftsmen worked efficiently until the new "jewel box" was finished. There is a bit of pride in Günther Schilling's voice: "And all this while the company was in operation."

A modern, functional building complex has been created on the company premises. With the expansion, 1,200 square meters of new office space were added. The total office space now covers 1,500 square meters. The production hall and service center were expanded by 2,000 to 3,300 square meters. The company is equipped with everything a modern, innovative operation needs. This includes a training center and modern offices. They are fitted with state-of-the-art technology. Ergonomically optimized workstations and additional creative areas have been established. In the old wing, a canteen has been set up. Here, employees can strengthen themselves, relax, and gather to generate new ideas. Günther Schilling considers lively exchange of thoughts and ideas, as well as a good working atmosphere, to be extremely important.

The building complex is also designed according to modern energy standards. Thanks to the photovoltaic system installed on the roof, the company is completely self-sufficient in electricity supply. The operation is also equipped with modern air conditioning technology with heat pumps and energy recovery. Under the motto "we live green," the company plans to increasingly use hybrid and electric vehicles. Two own electric charging stations have been installed for this purpose.
