SCHÄFER IT-Systems opens first showroom in Utrecht

SCHÄFER IT-Systems opens a showroom in the Savannah Tower in Utrecht. Since June 1, 2015, the manufacturer of network, server cabinet, and data center solutions has moved into the premises. Starting in July 2015, the showroom will also be available for customer visits and events. "Due to its central location in the Netherlands and direct connection to Amsterdam, a European hub for data centers, we are strengthening our position in the market and continuing to pursue our sales strategy in this important area," says Thomas Wermke, Head of IT Sales at SCHÄFER IT-Systems.

Thus, the exhibition space in Utrecht showcases the consolidated IT expertise of one of the brands of SCHÄFER WERKE. Over 60 square meters, customers and interested parties can view network, server, and colocation racks, a cold aisle containment system, and power distribution units, as well as plan customized solutions. The choice of location also fits the concept: with the Savannah Tower, not only was a representative and suitable office location for the showroom chosen, but its proximity to the highway also ensures good transportation links.

With the showroom, SCHÄFER IT-Systems emphasizes the importance of the regional market for providers of data center infrastructure. Wermke: "The growing market in Benelux has been a fixed part of our sales strategy for over two years. Through our presence in the Netherlands and native-speaking external and internal sales colleagues, we are now even better equipped to meet these demands."
