Sanner at CPHI: Perfectly combined CDMO expertise and Active Packaging expertise
The Sanner Group presents its two strategic focuses at CPHI Frankfurt: Visitors can discover the expanded portfolio of global CDMO services for medical devices and complex delivery systems at booth 0J92 in Hall 8. Additionally, the company showcases current innovations in pharmaceutical packaging and moisture management.
Over the past two years, the Sanner Group has significantly expanded its medical CDMO (Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization) services – strengthening its position as a global partner for medical devices and complex drug delivery systems. Part of this growth includes the construction of new production facilities and the strategic acquisition of two leading design competence centers: Springboard and Gilero.
Through these strategic expansions, Sanner is now capable of offering comprehensive CDMO services. The integrated service solutions are further supported by decades of experience in moisture management, custom solution manufacturing, and high-quality pharmaceutical packaging. "Sanner holds an important market position in the global pharmaceutical packaging industry. With our expanded capacities and a clear vision, we are ready to take a leading role as a MedTech-CDMO," says Stefan Verheyden, newly appointed CEO of the Sanner Group, for whom CPHI will be the first trade fair in his new role.
CDMO services based on proven expertise
The Sanner Group offers pharmaceutical and MedTech companies fully integrated processes for all development and production stages. From concept to commercial manufacturing, Sanner supports the entire lifecycle of pharmaceutical delivery systems, combination products, medical devices, and diagnostics. Customers benefit from a partner that consolidates all key competencies under one roof – from "Design for Manufacturing and Assembly" (DFMA) to precision engineering and regulatory expertise, as well as a long track record of innovation in moisture management and packaging. This integrated approach ensures a seamless transition from development to industrialization, reducing complexity, time, and risks. With a global presence in Europe, North America, and Asia, Sanner provides support locally – worldwide.
At CPHI Frankfurt, development and design specialists from Sanner’s subsidiary Springboard, together with experts from Pfizer, will give presentations on October 29th at 11:35 and 12:05 in the Packaging & Device Theatre in Hall 8, discussing new approaches in the development and design of injection devices.
Optimized TabTec® CR and Advance with Agility™
Sanner also showcases its portfolio of pharmaceutical packaging, including the optimized TabTec® CR packaging solution for solid oral dosage forms. The design of TabTec® CR has been improved and can be offered within the Advance with Agility™ program with customized desiccant solutions. The Advance with Agility™ service helps find the right desiccant solution even for highly sensitive active ingredients. By utilizing predictive stability modeling and achieving stability targets, it also ensures that products can reach the market faster, streamlining processes for pharmaceutical manufacturers.
“Together with our highly qualified teams and strategic partners, we are shaping the future of our packaging and MedTech business. We will continue investing in advanced technologies, global infrastructure, and customer-oriented innovations to deliver outstanding value to our customers and stakeholders,” summarizes Stefan Verheyden.
