Why does reliable ultrasonic welding make an important contribution to health protection? This is demonstrated by the new AGM Pro ultrasonic generator from Rinco Ultrasonics, currently in use in mask production. It ensures high production efficiency and high-quality products. The ultrasonic generator is designed for cutting and welding thermoplastic materials in automation lines or special machines. And it is extremely flexible in use.

Currently, hardly any product is produced in such high quantities worldwide as the mouth-nose protection mask. Several steps are necessary to produce a small piece of safety for human health: cutting fabrics or nonwovens and securely welding them, attaching rubber bands. Automated mask production with the new AGM Pro ultrasonic generator from ultrasound specialist Rinco Ultrasonics makes it easier for companies to supply the market quickly and efficiently with safe products.

The new digital ultrasonic generator can leverage its special features for the benefit of users. The AGM Pro is fully Industry 4.0 capable. It can be integrated into any environment with interchangeable modules and communicates securely via common fieldbus interfaces: Profinet, Profibus, DeviceNet, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, and CANopen. An RS485 interface and digital as well as analog inputs and outputs are also available.

The flexible and quick deployment is supported by intuitive operation via a 3.5-inch touch display or the new WebApplication ProConnect – an invaluable advantage in times when remote work is often necessary. Parameters can be changed remotely, data exported, or status messages monitored in real time. For optimized quality assurance, a multi-level user management system is in place, and with ProConnect, remote maintenance is even possible. The new compact ultrasonic generator AGM Pro can also be operated at any time via the plant's own PLC on-site.

In the database, up to eight parameter sets can be stored, and the user can choose between six welding modes. Continuous welding data can be recorded and traced via a USB port, as each data set is timestamped.

This impressive range of functions is presented by the AGM Pro in a compact housing. The new ultrasonic generator is significantly smaller than its predecessor and half as light. It is easy to mount in control cabinets. It features two mounting options, protected cable management, and optimized cooling management.
