The axial-radial bearings of the RTB series are available in various designs: as RTB-Standard for a wide range of applications, RTB-HSA for applications with low friction torque and high speeds, as well as RTB-ABS with an absolute measurement system and RTB-AMS with an inductive measurement system for operation under extreme conditions such as high loads, vibrations, or dirty environments. Thanks to the inductive measuring method, these bearings are robust, temperature-stable, and easy to install. The system is also modularly designed to meet all requirements for resolution and precision.

Within the RTB series, the ABS type with integrated absolute value encoder has been further optimized: the bearings are now even more precise and powerful, characterized among other things by improved stiffness. They are available in various sizes with bore diameters from 150 to 580 mm. They are also designed to be so compact that the measurement system automatically positions itself precisely during assembly. The absolute encoder (scanning head with integrated electronics) allows real-time absolute position detection of the rotary axis with a resolution of up to 26 bits. Due to the high measurement accuracy, movement can be optimally controlled – essential for manufacturing highly precise parts. Drivers are available for interfaces such as HEIDENHAIN Endat 2.2, SIEMENS Drive CLiQ®, FANUC αi, Mitsubishi, BiSS/C, SSI + 1Vpp.
