Room control devices from Neuberger receive BACnet certification

The Neuberger Building Automation GmbH has achieved another important milestone for open, future-proof building and room automation with the BACnet certification of their room control devices RP/RC8100. The self-developed devices meet the highest standards in interoperability and functional safety, enabling users to integrate them easily into modern automation systems.

The room control devices of the type RP/RC8100 from Neuberger Building Automation GmbH have been certified according to the BACnet standard in accordance with DIN EN ISO 16484-5. The certification confirms compliance with the BACnet Function Profile B-BC (BACnet Building Controller).

The testing procedure was carried out in cooperation with an accredited testing laboratory. Certification by the BACnet Testing Laboratories (BTL) documents that the devices meet international requirements for interoperability and functional safety in the BACnet environment. This provides users with a reliable basis for integration into open automation solutions.

Complementing the new technical BACnet conformity, the devices of the RP/RC series also impress with their high quality and intuitive user-friendliness: The high-resolution display, for example, convinces with excellent haptics and fast response times – a quality feature that clearly sets it apart from alternative solutions on the market. The freely programmable web interface also offers maximum flexibility and opens up unlimited possibilities for customizing the graphical user interface – exactly according to customer wishes.

With the RP/RC8100, Neuberger expands its BACnet-certified product groups, which also include the Open.Room building automation system and the PMC2 series automation stations.
