Rodriguez invests in new nasal spray machine

Rodriguez has expanded its machinery fleet in the linear technology sector with a SilverCut RSP-400N nastrenn machine. The semi-automated system handles the packaging of guide rails, spindles, pipes, and other rod materials using the nastrenn grinding process.

The machine features a cutting range for threaded spindles and shafts up to a maximum diameter of 80 mm, as well as guide rails and flat materials up to a maximum of 70x70 mm. It is designed for semi-automated separation, trimming, or packaging of round materials, with a cutting length tolerance of +/- 0.2 mm and cutting accuracy of +/- 0.2 mm. A specialized machine control system makes it possible to automatically process different orders: for example, the system can produce guide rails of varying lengths according to the drilled holes. Profile guide rails can also be cut to customer-specific dimensions. A laser ensures precise alignment of the distances to the holes.

Rodriguez has a comprehensive machinery fleet for the areas of linear technology and precision bearings, which is continuously expanding. Currently, about 50% of production is in-house, with an upward trend. Thanks to its own production facilities, as well as short decision-making paths between sales, development, and engineering, the Eschweiler company can operate much more flexibly than its competitors. This is also because most process steps can be covered in-house – from development through manufacturing to assembly and quality assurance.
