Robust pressure transmitters for series use

With the model series 3100/3200, Setra Systems Inc. offers extremely robust pressure sensors for series production, which due to their performance characteristics are suitable for a wide range of plant and device engineering applications.

They feature sputtered thin-film sensors with overpressure measurement ranges between 5 and 2200 bar and are available with various voltage outputs as well as a 4…20 mA current output. With a compensated temperature range between -40 and 105 °C, the sensors also provide reliable results even with large temperature fluctuations. The overall accuracy is 0.25%FS, and the long-term stability is specified at 0.2%FS/year.

In terms of operating conditions, this series also offers exceptional properties: all media-contacting parts are made of stainless steel, the sensors are overload-capable up to three times the measurement range, and the lifespan exceeds 100 million load cycles. Strict aging, vibration, and temperature tests ensure that the sensors operate reliably even under industrial conditions.

With a diameter of 25 mm and a height of approximately 50 mm, they are also suitable for use in limited space environments.
