Robust and extremely resistant
LEANTECHNIK presents gearboxes with a new surface and material concept
LEANTECHNIK’s high-precision rack-and-pinion gearboxes can now also be used in harsh environments. With the new lean® SL INOX+ and lifgo® TDC+ versions, the company is launching two variants that withstand even moisture, aggressive cleaning agents, salty air, high cycle rates and friction.
LEANTECHNIK rack-and-pinion gearboxes are installed in numerous applications worldwide. Until now, however, the product range had no standard variants suitable for particularly harsh environmental conditions. The new lean® SL INOX+ and lifgo® TDC+ gearbox variants now close this gap. They complement the lean® SL and lifgo® series and are fully compatible with them.
The lean® SL INOX+ is made entirely of stainless steel, from the pinion to the housing, and can therefore also be used in applications where moisture occurs or cleaning agents are used. These include, for example, coastal areas with salty air, such as ports and the fishing industry. In addition, the lean® SL INOX+ is ideally suited for applications in food production, rail transport and semi-outdoor areas. Lean® SL rack-and-pinion gearboxes can handle lifting forces from 300 N to 25,000 N and achieve lifting speeds of up to 0.6 m/s.
The lifgo® TDC+ is a tried-and-tested, robust and highly precise rack-and-pinion gearbox from the lifgo® series, which is additionally enhanced with a thin-chrome coating and anodizing. The lifgo® TDC+ gearbox was developed specifically for applications in sensitive environmental conditions. The coating and anodizing enable the gearboxes to be used, for example, in cleaning technology, packaging technology, confectionery production and precast concrete construction.
