RK Rose+Krieger expands its stainless steel mounting system

For its stainless steel assembly system (EMS), RK Rose+Krieger now offers covers for assembly-related transitions. The components perfectly complement the EMS and provide additional protection. They are also easy to install and suitable for use in food-related environments as well as cleanrooms.

Just over a year ago, the EMS from RK Rose+Krieger was successfully launched. The assembly system includes connecting elements made of stainless steel, which allow square or round tubes of standard size 40 to be easily assembled into frame structures — that is, without specialized knowledge and with only one tool. A special tension connector made of cast stainless steel is inserted into the tube and connection element and securely clamped by tightening two screws in the tube. Welding the tubes is thus unnecessary.

More protection through easy-to-mount cover

Due to assembly, a visible transition remains between the tube and the connection element, through which the tension connector and its screw hole are visible. To protect this area from dirt and contamination, the company developed its new covers. A properly shaped cover is available for each EMS connection element. It consists of two parts that can be easily mounted by hand without tools using clips around the respective tension connector. The ergonomic design offers not only increased protection but also improved tactile feel at the connection points and enhances their visual appearance.

Thanks to their specific construction, the covers are secured both axially and against rotation after installation. Their design makes them not only easy to install but also simple to remove. In case of damage, they can be easily replaced.

Application-specific modifications possible

The covers are made of light gray polyamide. Like the EMS with its corrosion-protected stainless steel parts, they are suitable for installations in cleanrooms, filling, packaging, and conveyor systems in the food industry, as well as for all areas susceptible to corrosion. Manufacturing from other materials or in different colors can be realized upon request. RK Rose+Krieger advises its customers regarding application-specific implementation.
