RK Rose+Krieger exclusively takes over distribution of X2 hub columns in Germany

Through a corresponding sales agreement, synergies arise for both sides: RK Rose+Krieger can expand its hub column portfolio in the field of special solutions and extreme application cases while simultaneously strengthening its presence in the Swedish market. X2 customers in Germany, in turn, benefit from more service and proximity to customers thanks to RK Rose+Krieger's infrastructure.

"The background is that our parent company Phoenix Mecano acquired all shares of X2 Technology AB based in Sweden as of June 1, 2021, and transferred them into the renamed Swedish Phoenix Mecano AB, with the X2 brand remaining intact," explains Kai Liesendahl, Sales Manager at RK Rose+Krieger. "These Swedish high-end hub columns are designed for industrial applications, for example in special machine construction and medical technology, and represent an ideal addition to our product range." In return, Phoenix Mecano AB will market RK Rose+Krieger's products more intensively in Sweden. "It's a win-win situation for both sides," emphasizes Patrik Nilsson, CEO of Phoenix Mecano AB. "Germany is a strategic growth market for us, in which RK Rose+Krieger is well established. We look forward to a good partnership."

X2 hub columns are strongly oriented towards niche applications and special cases; the mostly custom solutions are offered from a quantity of 1. They are designed for high loads, large lifting heights, and higher dynamics, meaning they can extend the telescoping elements faster. A good application example is a collaboration with a renowned tool manufacturer, where a solution was implemented for semi-automated drilling of holes in ceilings in the industrial sector. A mobile robot equipped with an X2 hub column, on which a hammer drill is fixed, is used. With remote control, this solution allows very precise positioning of drilling points.
