RICO Sicherheitstechnik AG has innovations in the luggage for the lounge

The RICO Security Technology AG will once again present innovative solutions at the lounges in Stuttgart this year. From May 19 to 21, the event will once again provide a platform for information and products related to maintaining pure, hygienic, or sterile environments, thereby resonating with numerous industry representatives. RICO contributes to this with its 100% airtight air shut-off dampers, which are used, for example, in ventilation applications in isolators, laboratories, hospitals, but also with filter manufacturers, in the pharmaceutical industry, or in refineries, reliably protecting environments from contamination. For the first time, the Swiss company will present the new OEM RAPIDO plastic damper in size DN500 in Stuttgart. Like the other products in this series, the plastic dampers impress not only with their comparatively low price. Their light weight and particularly simple handling also offer advantages in use. Additionally, the OEM RAPIDO dampers have high chemical resistance, making them a reliable solution even in challenging environments. With the QUADRO shut-off damper, RICO also demonstrates for the first time an exemplary application of the rectangular design at the lounges. Both - the round RAPIDO and the square QUADRO dampers - score with their compact and very lightweight construction. Depending on the need, they are available with a smooth sealing surface or with a test groove (PERFECT). The latter allows the seal integrity of the damper to be checked automatically and in the installed state using a hand pump. If a leak is present, a significant time savings can be achieved thanks to testing in the installed state. The broad product range in the field of airtight air shut-off dampers is also evident from the fact that customers can choose not only between different housings but also different damper discs and sealing materials. The drive can also be manually, pneumatically, or electrically adjustable depending on the requirements. Overall, almost every application can be equipped with the appropriate product.
