High-efficiency fan solutions are essential for energy efficiency in refrigeration, air conditioning, and building technology. In practice, this means replacing inefficient fans with high-efficiency fans using EC technology. But how does such a retrofit process work? These and other exciting questions will be answered on December 2, 2020, in the interactive online event hosted by ebm-papst.

Due to the great response to the first virtual “ebm-papst Retrofit Vesper” in summer, the “Retrofit Vesper 2.0 – Practical Discussion with Experts” will now take place on December 2, 2020, from 09:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Interesting facts and reports from practice

How does a retrofit actually work, and how can energy and cost efficiency be combined with planning security? What are the advantages of replacing fans, why is redundancy so important, and what funding programs are available? Martin Schulz, Sales Director Germany at ebm-papst, moderates the online event “Retrofit Vesper” and is supported by three experts who know what matters:

- Dieter Hildebrandt, Sales Manager and Retrofit Specialist at Breuell & Hilgenfeldt
- Thomas Häberle, Ventilation Department Head at Kratschmayer Luft-Wärme-Klima GmbH
- Marcel Riethmüller, Managing Director of ecogreen and Funding Expert in the Energy Sector

The practical experts will demonstrate with examples how retrofit projects are successfully planned, organized, and implemented – and of course, what specific energy savings have been achieved after project completion. Marcel Riethmüller is well-versed in current government funding options and explains where and how financial support is possible.

After presenting various projects, the experts will be available for questions about fan replacement. The target audience for the Retrofit Vesper includes energy consultants, installers, facility managers, TGA planners, and contacts for refrigeration and air conditioning technology.
