Rentschler Fill Solutions GmbH appoints Dr. Margit Klotz as Managing Director for the Operations division

Rentschler Fill Solutions GmbH, a service company and expert in aseptic filling, announced today the appointment of Dr. Margit Klotz (52) to the Management Board Operations, effective August 1, 2018. In this newly created position within the company, Dr. Klotz will be responsible for Process Development & Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering. Mr. Harald Henninger, who has been involved in the conception and development of the company alongside Reinhold Elsässer since mid-2016, is leaving Rentschler Fill Solutions after the successful handover of the completed facility.

Prof. Dr. Nikolaus F. Rentschler, main shareholder of Rentschler Fill Solutions GmbH, praised Mr. Henninger's achievements: “Harald Henninger has made great contributions to building the company. With his excellent expertise, he – together with his team – managed to create an operational pharmaceutical facility on a greenfield site in record time. This laid a crucial foundation for positive further development and thus the success of the company.”

Dr. Margit Klotz joins from Rentschler Biopharma SE, based in Laupheim, Germany, where she held positions of increasing responsibility over the past ten years, most recently as Vice President leading the Aseptic Filling business unit. Dr. Klotz has more than twenty years of experience in aseptic filling in international biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. She studied chemistry in Ulm and earned her doctorate in molecular genetics.
