Quality through Precision: Ingun Testing Equipment GmbH in Constance is among the world's first addresses for testing equipment in electronic manufacturing. The application areas for the products are broad and range from the telecommunications industry to medical technology. From standard products to customized solutions in the business areas of contact pins and test adapters, Ingun is represented as a high-tech company in more than 40 countries with its own branches or through trading partners. The positive business development made an expansion of the production area necessary in 2008. Ingun rented an adjacent building, which has since been used for the manufacture of test adapters. The floor in the workshop hall needed to be particularly durable, long-lasting, and ergonomic at the same time. The choice fell on rubber floor systems from nora systems. Just like Ingun's products, the rubber floors from Weinheim stand for safety and proven quality "Made in Germany".

Extremely high durability

"For the production of test adapters, we were looking for a durable, highly resistant floor that is suitable for driving with forklifts and also ergonomic," explains Michael Eisele, Technical Director at Ingun. The architecture firm HHP, commissioned with the renovation, recommended nora rubber floors. "I have known the nora floor systems for decades and have used them many times in projects," says owner Johannes Hartwich. "The rubber floors are highly durable, easy to clean, and also offer high walking and standing comfort." Due to the thickness of the material, nora floors are also suitable for areas with high pressure loads. "After all, each drilling machine in the production of test adapters weighs more than three tons," explains Eisele. In addition, metal shavings are generated during the production process, which land on the floor. This load is also withstanded by norament satura, which covers an area of more than 900 square meters in various sections of the workshop hall, without damage. Like all nora floor systems, norament satura does not need to be coated. At the same time, the extremely dense surface allows for easy and economical cleaning.

High walking and standing comfort

Furthermore, Ingun places great importance on a pleasant and ergonomic working environment for its employees. Especially at standing workstations, as often occur in manufacturing, the nature of the substrate plays a major role in fatigue-free working. Rubber floor systems facilitate walking and standing through their permanent elasticity, significantly relieving the back and joints. "The comfort of the rubber floors played a major role in the selection," say the Technical Director and the architect in unison.

Today, the nora floors have been in the production hall for about eleven years and still look almost new despite the highest loads. Like Ingun's products, they stand for durable quality "Made in Germany" and also offer a high level of safety.
