The explosion protection rupture discs are among the easiest to install pressure relief devices on the market—especially in the version with an integrated mounting frame. Their very flat design also makes handling straightforward, simple, and quick. Once installed, Vent-Saf reliably protect due to their quick response and the sudden release of a large relief opening. To ensure a perfect fit, Bormann & Neupert by BS&B offers the explosion protection rupture discs in numerous sizes and with response pressures ranging from 20 to 350 millibar.
The standard material for Vent-Saf is stainless steel AISI 304L; for highly corrosive media, materials such as Hastelloy, Inconel, or Monel are also available. The seals are designed as EPDM foam seals—special sealing materials can withstand process temperatures over 250 °C permanently or meet special hygiene requirements. Optional versions also incorporate electrical isolation, weather protection, integrity sensors, or a customer-specific hole pattern.
