Reliable and pulsation-free fluid transport in laboratory analytics
Whether in chemical or biological laboratories, biotechnology, or pharmaceuticals – peristaltic pumps are widely used. Their advantages lie in their reliability, simple design and handling, and the fact that the pumped medium only contacts the tubing material, not the pump mechanism itself. Additionally, they are insensitive to gas bubbles in the liquid and suitable for emulsions or suspensions.
AHF analytical technology offers you tubing pumps from the manufacturer Spetec with 1–6 fluid channels. The pressing force of the tubes can be adjusted separately for each channel, and the same or different tubes in material and diameter can be used. By combining tube diameter and rotational speed, flow rates between 2µl and 20ml (optionally even 100ml) per channel are possible. 12 rollers in the pump head minimize pulsation of the fluid flow. Optional pumps are available with 2 x 8 phase-shifted rollers in conjunction with special double tubing, which reduce pulsation to an absolute minimum (up to 3 pulsation-damped channels). We offer pump tubing for various media, from aqueous solutions to strong acids and organic solvents.
In addition to manual control via the control panel (switch for direction of rotation and high-speed operation, potentiometer for stepless speed regulation), all pumps can also be controlled externally. As an option, the pumps are also available with control capability via the USB interface, which facilitates integration into control loops. Due to their solid construction and acid-resistant coated housing, the peristaltic pumps are extremely reliable and durable.
Advantages at a glance:
– Reliable and durable (housing with acid-resistant coating)
– Manual or external control possible
– Wide selection of tubing materials and diameters
