For applications in the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) sector, bc-technology GmbH has realigned its portfolio in the field of cleanroom equipment, specifically tailoring the HygienicSafe line to meet GMP requirements.

These devices have also been acoustically and energetically optimized, and an improvement in ergonomic design has been implemented. Thanks to the surface made of disinfectant-resistant V2A stainless steel 1.4301 (alternatively V4A stainless steel 1.4404), these devices are particularly suitable for the pharmaceutical, medical technology, biotechnology, food, and cosmetics industries. In addition to the HygienicSafe line, bc-technology has developed the ParticleSafe and UniSafe lines. These two lines are mainly used in the optics and laser technology sectors, microelectronics, micromechanics, and other industries.

For the HygienicSafe devices, a distinction is made between solutions with pure product protection and configurations with additional personnel protection. There are, besides pure sitting or standing workstations, also solutions suspended from the ceiling, machine attachment devices, and cleanroom cabins. The workstations of the type bc-hs-cau, as well as special weighing cabins, combine product and personnel protection. The weighing cabins allow manual filling processes of powder-form input materials to be carried out within a microbiologically controlled production environment through downward-directed clean air flow inside. The LaminarFlow area fully covers the entire work area for weighing, primary, and secondary packaging. Contamination-reducing filter changes — so-called Bag-in-Bag-out systems — can also be integrated. All HygienicSafe devices are qualified according to the EC-GMP guidelines and meet the standard of cleanliness class A according to the EC-GMP guidelines, Annex 1.

Through intensive discussions, it is clarified in advance which solution is suitable for the respective application. "The customer is accompanied from the very beginning in this process and thus receives an optimal solution for him, where all components come from a single source," explains Markus Huber, Sales Manager of bc-technology GmbH. "Even after the project is finalized, he is supported through maintenance and service offerings."
