Reaching high in sensitive areas

Lifting tables and lifting jacks from EAP Lachnit for versatile use

Lifting devices are used in the industry at many locations. Especially in sensitive areas such as cleanrooms, Ex-zones, or in the production of chemicals, food, or pharmaceuticals, strict regulations apply to the use of lifting equipment. For both work processes and maintenance work on machines, systems, and buildings, special lifting devices are therefore necessary. To meet these requirements, EAP Lachnit manufactures stainless steel lifting tables and lifting jacks. With them, loads as well as people can be lifted to working heights or even ceiling height.

The range of lifting tables and lifting jacks is large, but only a few are suitable for sensitive areas such as the food, chemical, pharmaceutical, and medical industries, or for use in Ex-zones and cleanrooms. Because strict legal regulations apply here. EAP Lachnit specializes in these requirements with its conveyor and lifting equipment. The lifting tables from the southern German manufacturer, for example, serve as an addition to assembly stations, raising loads to the correct height, or, in a mobile version, act as transport aids for parts, boxes, or pallets. The robust flat scissor lift table type 350 can lift even the heaviest loads up to 1,500 kg and is fully made of stainless steel (V2A) for use in sensitive areas, as well as equipped with a waterproof hydraulic unit. The maximum lifting height is 750 mm, and the independent lifting and lowering times are 25 and 20 seconds, respectively. It is suitable for use in all industries that have high requirements for corrosion resistance, surface hygiene, and ease of cleaning of equipment and systems. The construction complies not only with the BGG 945 inspection for lifting jacks but also with the latest EC guidelines and hygiene regulations.

A special version of the scissor lift table also allows it to be used as a mobile work platform. For this purpose, it is equipped with casters, a sturdy railing, and a surrounding fold bellows. The lift table can be moved manually or supplemented with an electric drive. It is then additionally equipped with a safety barrier that interrupts operation upon contact with people or objects. This feature is standard on the lift table.

Up to the ceiling

Upon request, EAP Lachnit also supplies mobile work platforms for lifting people. The application areas here are diverse and range from maintenance and repair work on hall ceilings to filling shelves in cleanrooms. For this purpose, the work platforms are made of electropolished stainless steel. The electric drive is optionally powered by a battery or mains cable. The platform can be extended up to a height of 3 meters, resulting in a working height of approximately 4.90 meters. From a height of 1 meter, instead of a scissor lift construction, a telescopic mast is used. The load capacity is approximately 200 kg with a platform size of up to 1.50 meters.

For work at the mentioned heights in cleanrooms or Ex-areas, there is no way around these practical mobile work platforms: they offer a secure stance and enable risk-free work even under hall ceilings. Items such as tools, cleaning utensils, or spare parts can also be transported, which would have no space on a ladder.
