Quick cleanroom renovation thanks to loose-laid floor tiles

Renovation work in cleanrooms must be quick. After all, high costs are incurred when the technology is shut down and personnel cannot work. That is why Gerflor offers the perfect solution for the uncomplicated replacement of flooring in cleanrooms of GMP classes C and D with its system "GTI Control".

Thanks to the straight edges, the tiles are easy to install and tightly welded. This allows contamination to be well controlled. Clean and tight wall finishes with raised skirting are also no problem. The "GTI Control" can be laid without adhesive and can therefore be used on substrates that do not allow bonding. The flexibility of the material also allows minor unevenness of the floor to be compensated for.
All versions of "GTI Control" have a surface coating and are therefore easy to clean and decontaminate. The tiles consist of six to eight layers depending on the version, with fiberglass reinforcements ensuring high load capacity. The latest version, the "GTI Control Max Decor," additionally features a reinforced homogeneous PVC wear layer, making it more resistant to dynamic and static loads such as driving with forklifts and pallet trucks than the other versions. Thanks to its high scratch resistance, it meets the requirements of class R2 for industrial floors of CSTB (French Building Institute).

Gerflor offers the floor tiles in various colors and patterns. This not only allows them to blend into the environment but also provides the possibility to visually delineate certain areas or work with guiding systems. Logos with warning and directional signs can also be incorporated.
The development also considered the people working in cleanrooms: the GTI Control not only dampens noise but also offers a comfortable and warm surface for standing personnel, thus preventing "heavy legs".
If the GTI Control needs to be replaced, this can also be done without much effort.
