With the quattroClean snow jet technology, acp systems AG (Hall 3, Stand 3521) presents a dry, residue-free, and efficient solution for cleaning plastic components prior to painting or coating. It uses climate-neutral carbon dioxide and compressed air as cleaning media and reliably removes particulate and film contaminants. The excellent cleaning effect is based on the special design of the wear-free dual-component ring nozzle. Compared to traditional wet chemical cleaning, the quattroClean snow jet technology convinces with numerous advantages. These include significant savings in investment and operating costs as well as space requirements. Since neither water, cleaning chemicals, nor drying are necessary, the cleaning process is resource-efficient, energy-efficient, and sustainable.

Thanks to its scalability, the quattroClean system can be easily adapted to various component geometries for full-surface or partial cleaning. The systems based on standard modules can be designed for manual, semi-automated, and fully automated cleaning. For painting processes, the JetModule offers a solution that can be space-savingly integrated into a cabin – comparable to a paint booth. Automation is carried out using robots, linear, or portal systems. Part-specific process parameters such as volume flows for carbon dioxide and compressed air, jet time, jet angle, and movement sequences – including 3D movements – can be stored as cleaning programs in the system control. The digital controllability of the quattroClean system also enables integration of cleaning into linked and digitized manufacturing environments.
