The engineering firm "Dittel Engineering" has been awarded the 2018 Technology Prize by an expert commission of the British business magazine "Global Health & Pharma" as the "Best Cleanroom Design & Engineering Company – Europe". This honored the industry specialists for their contributions to high-quality healthcare and the development of innovative health solutions. Currently, the company is developing mobile, easily disassemblable hospitals in a Bavarian-Italian joint venture. These can provide quick and cost-effective aid in crisis areas.

"For us, this is a great recognition of our work," says founder Gernod Dittel. He started 25 years ago as a one-man operation and now runs the company together with his son Florian Dittel. After moving from Benediktbeuern to Schlehdorf into their new office building last year with now 30 employees and celebrating the company anniversary, the engineers have another reason to rejoice due to the award. "The prize for our company has a significant impact both internally and externally," says the founder.
