Pure air in the smallest space

In the company, it is necessary to create controlled production environments under cleanroom conditions to ensure process safety. Customers provide the unconditional requirement to deliver products with process safety and consistent quality. Why invest in an entire cleanroom when defined cleanroom conditions can be assured at each workstation in an unrestricted, flexible, and cost-effective manner?

Constructing and continuously operating a cleanroom represents a fundamental challenge for a company, involving effort and risks, even though sometimes only a specific section of the manufacturing process requires cleanroom conditions.

Precisely for such applications in limited areas, the company Spetec® has developed the Laminar Flow Box FBS, which allows creating cleanroom conditions exactly where they are actually needed. The effective cleanroom area achieved with a single Spetec® Flow Box FBS ranges between 0.37 and 1.12 m². This is often more than sufficient, as the filter used in the Flow Box FBS of type H14 filters out at least 99.995% of all particles — based on a particle size of 0.12 μm according to MPPS.

Thus, the Spetec® Flow Box FBS has an isolation factor of 10,000 and improves air quality by at least a factor of 10,000 compared to ambient air. This achieves ISO Class 5 cleanroom conditions without construction measures and at more than acceptable costs.

The Spetec® Flow Box FBS (tested and certified by the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology and Automation) is available in various model variants of different sizes, whether as a standalone device or as a tabletop version.
