The requirements for cleanliness or purity of environments have increased significantly, especially in the fields of industrial production and packaging, as well as in laboratories and research. Particulate and germ-free conditions are often a must. Large cleanrooms are frequently set up at great expense and with enormous technical effort, even though only a specific area requires cleanroom conditions.

For exactly such applications, Spetec® offers its Laminar Flow Box FBS, a product range that allows you to create cleanroom conditions precisely where they are actually needed. The effective cleanroom area achieved with a single Spetec® Flow Box FBS ranges between 0.37 and 1.12 sqm. This may sound small, but it is often more than sufficient, as the filter used in the Flow Box FBS of type H14 filters out at least 99.995% of all particles — based on a particle size of 0.12 μm according to MPPS.

Thus, the Spetec® Flow Box FBS has an isolation factor of 10^4 and improves air quality by at least a factor of 10,000 compared to the ambient air. This achieves cleanroom standards of ISO Class 5, and all without construction work and at more than reasonable costs.

The Spetec® Flow Box FBS is available in various model variants of different sizes and has been tested and certified by the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology and Automation. Naturally, only cleanroom-compatible materials such as acrylic glass and anodized aluminum are used here.

The Flow Box is available both as a standalone unit and as a desktop version.
