Practical-oriented cleanroom technology training: "Systems and concepts of cleanroom technology"

From November 16 to 19, 2016, a cleanroom technology training with a strong practical focus will take place at the Hermann Rietschel Institute of TU Berlin.

In this training, participants will be shown practical problem areas and solutions in planning and working in cleanrooms through hands-on sessions. For example, the differences between ideal and real airflow processes in cleanrooms will be visualized. The problem: Theoretical fundamentals specific to cleanrooms are well known from the literature; however, the actual processes in real cleanrooms often deviate significantly from these. This discrepancy between theory and practice will be addressed through experimental exercises. Solutions will be presented for related topics such as particle dispersion, building automation, pharmaceutical production according to GMP, and equipment qualification.

The training takes place in the in-house research laboratory of the Hermann Rietschel Institute, which consists of two cleanrooms of different protection classes and is equipped with extensive measurement technology.
