Quality and unit costs of components are significantly influenced by part cleaning. To optimize both, a variety of influencing parameters must be considered during the process design and operation of a cleaning system. The necessary theoretical and practical know-how is conveyed by the Ecoclean Academy in two-day basic training courses. In addition, the company offers individual process analyses and bilingual webinars on various topics in industrial component cleaning.

The demands on the execution of cleaning processes have changed dramatically in recent years. Stricter requirements for particulate and/or film cleanliness must increasingly be met. At the same time, the demands on the cost-effectiveness as well as energy and resource efficiency of the cleaning processes are rising. For employees in component cleaning manufacturing, these changes require in-depth knowledge of the fundamentals and influencing factors in component cleaning. On the other hand, extensive know-how about the operation, maintenance, and servicing of the cleaning system is needed for optimal operation.

Fundamentals and technical system training in a package

Ecoclean supports users of industrial cleaning technology with two-day seminars for these tasks. The events are divided into a theoretical and a practical part, with basic training or technical system training. In the lectures of the basic training, participants are sensitized to the influencing factors along the manufacturing chain on component cleaning as well as the feasibility and possibilities. Furthermore, knowledge is imparted to correctly assess cleanliness requirements.

On the second day, the practical part takes place in the technical laboratory. Here, using standard systems for solvent- and water-based cleaning as examples, it is demonstrated which adjustment screws can be turned to optimize the system and its performance spectrum.

The basic training courses are conducted at Ecoclean's Filderstadt location in German and are aimed at operating personnel of the cleaning systems as well as employees from the service and maintenance departments. It is also possible to book a one-day participation, for example, only the basic training or the system training. Dates and the full content can be found on the company's website under the Academy menu (https://ecoclean-group.net/de/akademie/schulungsangebote/). Furthermore, the basic training courses can be customized to customer needs and conducted at the system operator’s site in the respective national language.

Process analyses – a holistic, customer-specific approach

It is not uncommon for individual challenges to pose difficulties for companies in the field of component cleaning. These include, for example, that specified cleanliness specifications are not met or only with extremely high effort, an optimization of existing cleaning programs is necessary, issues related to workpiece handling, or demands for higher economic efficiency or sustainability of the cleaning processes. In these cases, a process analysis around the component cleaning is recommended. The focus is not only on the cleaning system but on the entire process chain. All upstream and downstream steps that influence the cleaning result are analyzed on-site by two experienced experts, and the results are documented in a detailed written report.

Webinars – knowledge and solutions for various tasks

An effective and quick way to acquire know-how and solution approaches for different tasks in industrial component cleaning is through the company's webinars. The interactive online events are conducted in German and English and cover the following topics:

– Fundamentals of filtration
– Overview of existing measurement technology
– Fundamentals of water treatment

The interactive design of the approximately one-hour webinars allows participants to communicate directly with the presenter and ask questions. Dates and further information can be found on the company's homepage under News, Trade Fairs, and Events (https://ecoclean-group.net/de/news/messen-events/).
