POWTECH 2017 – 60 percent funding for young innovative companies

The POWTECH is the world's leading trade fair for mechanical process engineering, handling, and analytics of powders and bulk materials. In 2016 alone, over 16,000 industry professionals from around the world flocked to Nuremberg to learn about the latest procedures and technologies. For trade fair or industry newcomers, that is, young and innovative companies from Germany, the fair offers a special advantage: they can rely on the support of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy – BMWi – for their trade fair appearance.

For POWTECH 2017, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy is promoting the participation of young innovative companies from Germany. Since mid-2007, the BMWi has supported the participation of such companies in selected international leading trade fairs in Germany. The program aims to strengthen export business and thereby also the location Germany.

Currently, only a few spots are available for subsidized participation in the joint booth for young innovative companies. The already registered exhibitors present a variety of innovations, from wear protection for plant components to industrial mixers.

The joint booth organized by NürnbergMesse is supported by AUMA – the Exhibition and Trade Fair Committee of the German Messewirtschaft. According to the applicable guidelines, trade fair appearances are subsidized with up to 7,500 euros or a cost coverage of up to 60 percent by the BMWi. This includes services such as booth space, basic furnishing, lighting, electricity, cleaning, insurance, communication package, and AUMA fee.

Eligible companies are those that present product- and process-related innovations, have their headquarters and business operations in the Federal Republic of Germany, meet the current EU definition of a small enterprise, and are younger than ten years. POWTECH 2017: Trade fair and knowledge platform

POWTECH 2017 will take place from September 26 to 28, 2017, at the Nuremberg Exhibition Center. The 20th edition of POWTECH in Nuremberg again offers a comprehensive supporting program around powder, granulate, and bulk material technologies, including an expert forum in Hall 2 and a special area with a technical forum on pharmaceutical solids in Hall 3A.
