Positive signs and great support for PaintExpo 2024
PaintExpo Global Trade Fair for Industrial Coating Technology (April 9 - 12, 2024)
The world’s leading trade fair for industrial coating technology already reports a very good registration status one year before the start of the next event. From April 9 to 12, 2024, PaintExpo will once again serve as the global showcase for the latest trends in coating. The who's who of the coating technology industry will be represented in Karlsruhe.
With around 430 exhibitors from 27 countries and over 9,000 trade visitors from 57 countries, PaintExpo successfully resumed in 2022 after the pandemic-related break. More than one-third of the exhibitors traveled from abroad. On the visitors' side, a wide range of top decision-makers or technical and managerial staff were present in Karlsruhe: approximately 90 percent of visitors from the last PaintExpo have an influence on investment decisions in their companies.
Preparations for PaintExpo 2024 are in full swing: Already one year before the trade fair begins, around 250 companies have registered, and more than 70 percent of the exhibition space of the previous event has been rented. "The response from the industry is great. This clearly shows that PaintExpo is very well positioned and is a must-attend event for the industry. In April next year, it will again be the worldwide showcase for innovations and future technologies, as well as for very practical solutions related to industrial coating technology," explains Markus Geisenberger, Managing Director of Leipziger Messe. Registration information can be found on the PaintExpo website.
Important industry players, interesting new exhibitors, high internationality
At the world’s leading trade fair, both globally operating market and technology leaders and innovative medium-sized companies will showcase their latest products and applications in industrial coating technology across three exhibition halls. Key industry players from home and abroad, such as Axalta, DeFelsko, Dürr, Eisenmann, FreiLacke, Gema Switzerland, J. Wagner, Krautzberger, Louis Schierholz, Nordson, PPG, and Venjakob, are among the participants. Additionally, interesting new exhibitors have been convinced by the trade fair concept: Among others, the Turkish provider of cleaning and pretreatment technology Mitsuda and the specialist for heating industrial containers Neybo will present their range of services for the first time at PaintExpo in Karlsruhe.
The upcoming edition of PaintExpo also has a lot to offer internationally: Most exhibitors come from Western European countries—besides Germany, mainly from Italy, Switzerland, Austria, the Netherlands, and Spain. However, companies from Turkey or Greece, for example, have already secured their booth spaces. The share of international exhibitors currently stands at around 40 percent.
The full spectrum of industrial coating
PaintExpo covers the entire range of industrial coating with the products and services of the exhibitors. The spectrum next year will range from surface treatment solutions to paints and coating systems or powder and powder coating plants, up to quality assurance. The industry platform consolidates coating solutions for all sectors, applications, and materials—whether wet coating, powder coating, or coil coating.
