Plastiflex Group acquires Sidam S.r.l. from Mindful Capital Partners

Plastiflex Group N.V. acquires Sidam S.r.l., a leading healthcare company that designs and supplies tubing systems for preparing, handling, and delivering complex medical substances used in radiology, radiopharma, stem cell therapy and oncology. The acquisition strengthens Plastiflex’ activities in the fluid management segment by adding capabilities and high-growth end-markets to the group.

Plastiflex is a world leader in the development and production of tubing systems and components for healthcare (CDMO platform for airway and fluid management) and other applications. Sidam is a highly specialized CDMO providing disposable medical devices for fluid management markets. Headquartered in Mirandola, Italy, the company operates state-of-the-art production and research facilities in the region.

The existing Sidam leadership team, guided by Mrs Annalisa Azzolina, CEO of Sidam, will become part of the Plastiflex fluid management leadership team and all Sidam production and research facilities will continue their activities at their current locations.

As a result of the partnership with Sidam, the combined entity will further extend its product portfolio in the fluid management market and will be able to offer the Sidam customer base additional manufacturing capabilities across Asia and North America.

The acquisition adds further healthcare capacity in Europe, now with  healthcare locations in North America (USA and Mexico), EMEA (Italy, Germany, Slovenia and Turkey) and Asia (China and Malaysia).
