Cleanrooms are an indispensable component in the production of modern medical devices and pharmaceuticals.

The planning, construction, and ongoing operation are technically and organizationally demanding tasks that place high demands on the expertise of the personnel involved and also entail a significant financial investment. Also, at the 9th Cleanroom Days Saar, the section on practical examples and experience reports will once again be an essential part of the event within the CleanRoomNet network.

Important industry sectors will be the focus this time: the production of modern medical devices, pharmaceuticals, microbiological laboratories, pharmacists, hospitals, plastic injection molding in the field of medical devices, and many more. The planning, construction, and ongoing operation are technically and organizationally demanding tasks that require a high level of expertise from the personnel involved and also involve a considerable financial effort. Sterile products often need to be produced individually for patients. Due to their short shelf life, this is now also done in pharmacies with on-site cleanrooms. It is important to have a comprehensive view of the production process and to eliminate all sources of error. The 'CleanRoomNet' network and the 'Healthcare Saarland' cluster aim to provide their expertise to all partners at this event. They will give an overview of the latest state of the art. Interested parties from the Saar-Lor-Lux region are expected.

On-site, there will also be the opportunity to see the manufacturing, decontamination, and sterilization of cleanroom clothing.

The healthcare industry in Saarland is a dynamic environment, driven in part by the networking of companies and research institutions within the 'Healthcare Saarland' cluster. This is supported by the state government and the Central for Productivity and Technology (ZPT) of the Saarland Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and was the foundation of the Cleanroom Forum.
