Pilz provides guidance for machine safety

Validation of robot applications according to ISO/TS 15066, safe programming according to EN ISO 13849, or risk assessment and analysis according to IEC 62061. Those dealing with functional safety can easily get entangled in standards and guidelines. With the Safety Compendium, Pilz provides designers, manufacturers, and operators with a reliable guide to the most important standards in machine safety. The standard work has been published in its fifth edition.

Current topics such as safe human-robot collaboration or safety in Industry 4.0 are included in the fifth edition of the Safety Compendium. The standard work is based on the extensive knowledge and many years of experience of the author team. In addition to CE marking, the most important normative and technical fundamentals for functional safety are conveyed.

The Safety Compendium serves as a guide for many questions regarding the safety of humans, machines, and the environment. It is available as a PDF in German and English free of charge for download on the Pilz website.
