Piepenbrock strengthens the CAFM RING

The Piepenbrock Group has joined the industry association CAFM RING. The association promotes the quality of IT and service projects that support processes and management in the construction and real estate industry.

"Modern facility management is no longer possible today without digital data management and tailored software solutions. It's about capturing information about properties and real estate in real time, integrating it, and thereby making work processes more efficient," says Mahmut Tümkaya, Managing Director of Large Customer Holistic Facility Management at Piepenbrock. That is why the building service provider decided to become a member of the industry association CAFM RING – CAFM stands for Computer Aided Facility Management. "We want to strengthen dialogue and exchange of experience with other companies in the industry to be able to deliver even more tailored services to our clients. We see CAFM RING as a platform that specifically promotes professional exchange and contributes to the development of forward-looking solutions," Tümkaya explains. The Osnabrück family business aims to actively contribute and share its experience from property operations within the network.

In dialogue for standardized data management

The association for the digitalization of real estate operations, CAFM RING e. V., is a coalition of IT, consulting, and service providers who advocate for standardized data management, especially from the perspective of building operations. To this end, CAFM RING supports scientific studies, conducts events, publishes guidelines, and provides freely accessible IT tools such as the standard interface for exchanging real estate data "CAFM-Connect." The association is also committed to the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM), which describes the optimized planning, execution, and management of buildings using modern software solutions. Klaus Aengenvoort, Chairman of CAFM RING, welcomed the building service provider to the ranks of the association: "We are pleased with Piepenbrock's decision to collaborate within our industry association. From our perspective, it is absolutely purposeful that providers and users of CAFM systems address the challenges of digitalization together."
