Piepenbrock cleans at Gebrüder Brasseler in Lemgo

Since April 1, 2022, the Piepenbrock branch in Münster has been responsible for the maintenance cleaning for Gebrüder Brasseler GmbH & Co. KG in Lemgo. The collaboration has already been expanded to include cleanroom cleaning and equipment inspections.

For 100 years, Gebrüder Brasseler GmbH & Co. KG has been producing internationally recognized products for medical technology under the brand name Komet. These include instruments for the dental industry, surgery, and the jewelry industry. The family-owned company supplies its products to over 100 countries. At the only production site in Lemgo, Brasseler employs around 1,200 of its 1,400 employees worldwide. For a year, the company has relied on Piepenbrock as a service provider for the cleanliness of its production halls, office and administrative areas, as well as logistics in East Westphalia-Lippe. "With us, Brasseler has found a reliable partner who can offer everything from a single source. We were able to particularly convince the customer with our references and our broad product portfolio during the tender," says Michael Wagner, Area Manager Münster at Piepenbrock.

Wide Range of Maintenance Cleaning

Up to 40 Piepenbrock employees are engaged in maintenance cleaning at the Lemgo site from Monday to Saturday. In addition to offices, measurement and testing rooms, halls, and laboratories, they also clean corridors and cloakrooms, stairwells and elevators, sanitary areas, kitchens, and the social area. An additional order in maintenance cleaning involved waste disposal in the production halls. A Piepenbrock employee collects the waste with a forklift and disposes of it properly. While most services are performed after 3 p.m., up to four cleaning staff keep relevant areas such as restrooms, showers, and changing rooms clean in the morning.

Extended Deployment in Lemgo

Brasseler and Piepenbrock value a committed and open personal exchange. In addition to the supervisor, who manages the site and area, the branch manager Sandra Gerresheim regularly discusses overarching topics with the customer on-site. This smooth communication is also appreciated by Sven Brakhage, Head of Supply Management at Brasseler: "Thanks to Piepenbrock's high presence, we can quickly address and process current issues." A seamless collaboration that has grown beyond maintenance cleaning. Since July 2022, Piepenbrock has been inspecting the portable electrical equipment and the fixed electrical systems of Brasseler. Four months after the start of the contract, a further service was added with cleanroom cleaning, for which the Piepenbrock employees received specialized training.
