At Pharmapack 2026, Sanner will showcase the newly developed Tethered Cap, which complements Sanner BioBase® in the portfolio for sustainable effervescent tablet packaging. The permanently connected Tethered Cap enables improved recycling and thus a more environmentally friendly overall product. At booth 4G46, the company will also present the results of extensive acquisitions and the opening of new, state-of-the-art plants in the past two years – significantly expanded international production capacities and comprehensive services for packaging solutions and medical technology products.

Manufacturers of dietary supplements such as effervescent tablets are increasingly faced with rising demands for the environmental compatibility of their products and packaging. Sustainability also plays an increasingly important role for consumers. This is where Sanner’s new Tethered Cap closure solution comes into play: the TE safety ring remains attached to the cap. This way, all plastic components can be directed for recycling, reducing environmental pollution caused by microplastics. “Supporting a functioning circular economy is very important to Sanner,” emphasizes Stefan Verheyden, CEO of the Sanner Group. “This applies to our products as well as to our own operational processes. The fact that we recently achieved EcoVadis Gold status confirms how deeply sustainability is embedded in our corporate strategy.”

In addition to its excellent recyclability, manufacturers benefit from easy integration into their existing waste disposal processes – without machine retooling or process interruptions. At Pharmapack, Sanner will also showcase its broad portfolio of desiccant solutions, such as the improved TabTec®CR, for moisture- and odor-sensitive pharmaceuticals and dietary supplements, as well as moisture regulation options for devices and diagnostics products.
