The family business Pfennig Reinigungstechnik GmbH from Durach (Allgäu) supplies the Ukrainian hospital in Lviv with professional cleaning equipment. Every day, hundreds of injured people from the attacked eastern regions of Ukraine are brought to the hospital in Lviv. The majority of them are civilians and children.

With a donation of 26 cleaning carts along with the appropriate accessories from Pfennig Reinigungstechnik, the Ukrainian hospital in Lviv is equipped with the necessary professional cleaning technology.

Since the beginning of the war, the city of Lviv has accommodated more than two million people from various regions of Ukraine. In addition to providing medical care for refugees, the hospital in Lviv also offers assistance in treating numerous war injuries. The city administration of Lviv has previously invested heavily in renovating and modernizing the clinic. This brought the clinic up to the latest standards of technology and hygiene according to European standards. However, the equipment with professional cleaning devices and textiles was still not sufficient for the size of the hospital.

When the news arrived in August requesting support from Pfennig Reinigungstechnik, the manufacturer of professional cleaning equipment immediately agreed to help. "Together with our long-standing partner Aleksey Shetsko, we launched the donation campaign," says Dietmar Pfennig, Managing Director of Pfennig Reinigungstechnik GmbH. "Given the particularly difficult situation in Ukraine, it was more than obvious for us to supply the Lviv hospital with professional equipment for hygienically flawless cleaning."

In early September, the cleaning equipment was delivered to the Lviv hospital. "The entire team is so happy to now have professional equipment. The generosity and help are incredible for us," reports Aleksey Shetsko, COO of SP KBT LLC, organizer of the aid project. "The hospital and its patients, my team, and my family are immensely grateful for this support." In October, Dietmar Pfennig and another employee will travel to Lviv to train the cleaning staff. Both sides are very much looking forward to the personal meeting.
