PFENNIG Cleaning Technology GmbH becomes part of the Schülke Group

The PFENNIG Cleaning Technology GmbH, founded in 1974, has continuously developed into a specialist for manual cleaning systems in highly sensitive areas. The customer portfolio includes facility management companies, university clinics, hospital operator groups, as well as operators of cleanrooms in the pharmaceutical industry, life sciences, and semiconductor manufacturing.

With locations in Durach, Weidach, Sebnitz (Saxony), and Wangen an der Aare (Switzerland), it has become a successful market leader in a highly specialized and regulated segment operating in over 30 countries.

Since 1998, there has been a collaboration with Schülke and Mayr GmbH, Norderstedt, a globally leading provider in infection prevention and control for more than 135 years.

The two companies have decided to pursue a joint path in the future to offer customers in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and other highly regulated sectors a comprehensive and unique market solution.

Effective from July 13, 2026, the Pfennig Group becomes a subsidiary of the Life Science division of Schülke & Mayr GmbH.

The international orientation of the Schülke Group opens up new opportunities for Pfennig in highly attractive markets.
