Effective immediately, Peter Pühringer is the new Managing Director of Stäubli Robotics Bayreuth. The 43-year-old engineer thus bears responsibility for the markets of Germany, Austria, and Scandinavia. The official appointment of Pühringer as Managing Director is a consistent step, as he has already been responsible for the operational management of the Bayreuth site as Division Manager since mid-2017, albeit until now under the leadership of Gerald Vogt.

For Gerald Vogt, this step should lead to relief from a dual role. Since mid-2016, he has been responsible, alongside his management of Bayreuth, for the global robotics business from the Swiss company headquarters. The 50-year-old diploma engineer and business graduate can now focus on his global tasks as Group Division Manager as well as his activities on the company board and at the same time knows that the Bayreuth site is in capable hands.
