Perfect for the cleanroom: Smoothly designed maintenance-free washing station
The innovative cleanroom equipment can be easily integrated and is durable due to seamless design, making it especially easy to clean.
The system manufacturer and process expert Glatt Engineering from Weimar has developed a seamless cleanroom washing station. This groundbreaking product has already successfully passed practical testing, both within the system in its own technology center and on-site at customers' locations.
The Glatt cleanroom washing station is designed as a fully welded variant and is made of high-quality stainless steel. Completely free of silicone joints, which would need to be regularly replaced during continuous operation, the element offers complete maintenance freedom. At the same time, the washing station is very easy to clean and resistant to all common disinfectants and cleaning agents used in the pharmaceutical sector.
The element also demonstrates flexibility in installation: the washing station can be integrated into almost all standard rack constructions from the most common cleanroom manufacturers – the same applies to connection to existing ceiling systems. Media connections and columns can also be incorporated to accommodate, for example, hose fittings or water taps on the washing station. Additionally, the room can be traversed with heavy equipment. It is approved for high mobile loads and features a shock- and impact-resistant bumper. This is ensured by a backfill with concrete.
The design of Glatt's cleanroom washing station can be with or without slope – the installation itself is quick to complete.
Forward-looking planning as a guarantee of success
Cleanrooms are indispensable in the pharmaceutical industry and must meet increasingly complex requirements. Ideally, companies involve an experienced cleanroom planner from the very first project step when designing new or reconfigured cleanrooms. Coordinated collaboration among the various trades guarantees efficient implementation and ensures that all installations are compliant with cleanroom standards.
Ronny Töpfer, project engineer at Glatt Engineering: “Our experts have so far implemented numerous cleanroom projects of all classes, ranging from a few hundred to several thousand square meters. Based on this experience, we were able to realize the complex requirements for cleanroom elements in the development of this innovative washing station. The result is an innovative seamless cleanroom washing station that represents an optimal solution for many pharmaceutical companies.”
