Ex stainless steel enclosure systems from ROSE are ideally suited for protecting electronic components in harsh environments. The metal enclosures are corrosion-resistant, exhibit very high chemical resistance, and can be used across a wide temperature range. Operators of LNG and hydrogen terminals also trust the robust enclosures from Porta Westfalica.

The Ex stainless steel enclosure systems from ROSE meet the requirements of ATEX/IECEx standards and are approved for ATEX zones 1 and 21. Users can choose the enclosures either as components with U-certification or as fully certified devices for the installation of terminals or electronic components.

ROSE offers its Ex stainless steel enclosure systems in more than 40 different variants – in addition to the standard version, there are also variants with flanges, hinged doors, or EMC protection. All Ex stainless steel enclosures can be used within the temperature ranges T6/T5/T4 and -60 °C and are certified by the classification society Det Norske Veritas (DNV) for use on ships and offshore facilities. Since the enclosures are made from high-quality V4A stainless steel, they are also ideally suited for hygiene-critical applications in the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries.

All Ex stainless steel enclosures feature non-removable cover screws, a large opening for installations, and integrated mounts for DIN rails and mounting plates. The enclosure systems are available as standard empty enclosures with dimensions from 100 x 100 x 61 mm to 200 x 600 x 121 mm. Additionally, ROSE offers the ProtEx enclosures as a high-tech solution for the oil and gas sector: they are equipped with one or more flanged plates and are available in sizes from 260 x 260 x 205 mm to 980 x 740 x 205 mm. Integrated mounting lugs ensure easy installation on racks or frames in onshore and offshore applications.
