PCB Synotech GmbH is now PCB Piezotronics GmbH

It was only a matter of time – at the Hückelhoven location, the American sensor manufacturer PCB Piezotronics Inc. previously had two companies: PCB Synotech GmbH, founded in 1992 for the German market, and its sister company PCB Piezotronics Europe GmbH, opened in 1996, which serves the European locations and distributors.

Since October 17, 2023, the two companies have merged and operate under the name PCB Piezotronics GmbH. In this merger, all business and services will continue to be provided in the future. The company remains a competent contact for customers in the field of sensor sales, offering advice and services (calibration, repair, rental). For customers, nothing changes – except the name.

Products, Consulting, and Services

The product range of PCB Piezotronics is extensive and includes acceleration sensors for research + development and predictive maintenance, acoustic products such as microphones and sound measurement devices, pressure, force, and strain sensors for static and dynamic measurements, as well as complementary accessories such as measurement cables, sensor power supply units, and signal conditioning. Additionally, calibration solutions are part of PCB's product portfolio. From small portable units to accredited calibration systems for, among others, acceleration sensors, shock sensors, and microphones.

Comprehensive expertise, personalized consulting, competence, and direct customer contact are the success factors for PCB Piezotronics. Customer satisfaction is the top priority. Sales engineers play a key role: through a decentralized sales network, they assist in selecting the right sensors for various applications in automotive manufacturing, mechanical engineering, research and development, process industry, renewable energy, as well as aerospace. The product management also plays a crucial role, working with know-how and experience to develop customized application solutions together with customers.

Beyond consulting, after-sales support is highly valued. The calibration and repair department complements the offering perfectly. Inspection of sensors, repair, or replacement are part of the service scope, as well as calibration of sensors in the in-house, accredited calibration laboratory. The presence at the company headquarters ensures reliable and fast processing. Another service is the rental program, which includes sensors, measurement cables and amplifiers, as well as various accessories and other measuring devices.
