The film and packaging manufacturer Bischof+Klein is among the award winners of the renowned Best Managed Companies Award 2025. CEO Dr. Tobias Lührig received the award together with CSO Erik Edelmann at a ceremonial gala in Frankfurt.

"For us at Bischof+Klein, packaging is much more than just a shell – it protects our customers' products, communicates with consumers, conserves resources, and contributes to the circular economy. We work on this with passion and strategic foresight," explained Dr. Tobias Lührig in his statement at the award ceremony.

Markus Seiz, Director at Deloitte Private and head of the Best Managed Companies program, praised the award winners: "Best Managed Companies like Bischof+Klein have demonstrated their outstanding corporate management impressively. Their success is based on a well-thought-out and smart business model, a highly motivated team, and an unwavering will to initiate and implement new ideas. As pioneers and role models, they have more than earned their recognition as Best Managed Companies."

The Best Managed Companies Award is an internationally recognized seal of quality for excellently managed medium-sized companies. The program was initiated in the 1990s by Deloitte in Canada and is now established in over 45 countries.

Bischof+Klein is one of the leading European manufacturers of flexible product protection solutions made of plastic. The company has won the WorldStar Packaging Award multiple times (2023, 2024, 2025) and produces highly advanced industrial and consumer packaging as well as technical films for renowned customers from nearly all industries.

With around 2,800 employees at five production sites in Germany, France, the United Kingdom, and Poland, as well as an international sales network, Bischof+Klein achieves an annual turnover of approximately 600 million euros.

A central element of the innovation strategy is the company's own development center at the headquarters in Lengerich. Here, plastics engineers, mechanical engineers, raw material partners, and customers work hand in hand on the packaging solutions of the future – with a common goal: ecologically meaningful products for a functioning circular economy.
