PARTEC 2019: Call for Papers published

"Particles for a better life" – under this motto, the PARTEC, an international congress for particle technology, will take place in Nuremberg in 2019. The Executive Committee of PARTEC, chaired by Professor Stefan Heinrich, has announced the Call for Papers: scientists from university research, institutes, and industry are invited to submit their contributions for the congress and present them to a high-caliber international professional community at PARTEC 2019. PARTEC will be held from April 9 to 11, 2019, parallel to POWTECH at the Nuremberg Exhibition Center.
The contributions can address topics and questions from the areas of "Handling and Flow of Particulate Systems," "Particle Interactions and Interfaces," "Modelling and Simulation," as well as "Applications of Particle Technology." Interested researchers have the opportunity to submit abstracts as individuals or as a project group by April 30, 2018. The research results will be presented either as a lecture in the congress program or as a poster presentation. PARTEC takes place every three years and, as the largest international congress for particle technology, promotes professional exchange between experts from science and industry. The conference language is English. The renowned congress is organized by the VDI Society for Process Engineering and Chemical Engineering and supported by numerous organizations from Germany and abroad, including the Working Group for Pharmaceutical Process Engineering (APV) and the Society of Powder Technology (Japan). Companies in the industry can participate as sponsors. In 2016, 472 congress participants attended PARTEC in Nuremberg.

PARTEC takes place simultaneously with POWTECH 2019, the world's largest trade fair for process engineering, analytics, and handling of powders and bulk materials.

PARTEC is an international forum for research and development in particle technology. Every three years, the congress, held in English, brings together scientists and engineers from around the world. Topics discussed include particle formation processes, measurement methods, processes such as agglomeration and coating, as well as various industrial applications for particles.
