PaintExpo expects exhibitors from 26 nations
From April 14 to 17, 2026, global market leaders, innovation drivers, and medium-sized companies in the industrial finishing technology sector will showcase themselves with international participation at a record level.
In top form, five months before the start of the trade fair, the PaintExpo 2026 is already showing its strength: More than 360 exhibitors have secured their place at the world’s leading trade fair for industrial coating technology. This means that around 90 percent of the available 30,000 square meters of exhibition space are already booked. Especially pleasing: The international share is 54 percent. Companies from a total of 26 countries will be represented. Among the strongest exhibiting countries are Italy, Turkey, France, Switzerland, and Poland.
"We are pleased that PaintExpo is once again developing such a strong international appeal," says Carmen Bender, Project Director of PaintExpo. "The fact that companies from countries such as Cyprus, Egypt, and Vietnam have registered this time shows how globally positioned industrial coating technology is nowadays. This diversity brings together new perspectives, technologies, and markets and confirms PaintExpo as the meeting point for the worldwide industry."
In addition to the proven trade fair concept, PaintExpo 2026 features a forward-looking innovation: The trade fair Friday is dedicated to a particularly important target group. Aspiring graduates are to be excited about the diverse career opportunities in the coating technology industry — even from unrelated fields of study. In cooperation with universities within a 200-kilometer radius of Karlsruhe, students from disciplines such as electrical engineering, process engineering, mechanical engineering, and software development are invited. A keynote speech with cross-industry relevance, guided tours of selected exhibitors, and practical examples directly at the booths demonstrate how versatile entry into coating technology can be. The concept is supported by the PaintExpo advisory board and offers interested exhibitors the opportunity to showcase themselves to additional potential young talent.
Thanks to close cooperation between Leipziger Messe and Messe Karlsruhe, exhibitors and visitors will benefit from optimized processes on-site next year. Modern infrastructure measures and the re-availability of parking lot P3 ensure smoother access and an overall more comfortable trade fair experience.
The ticket shop for PaintExpo 2026 is now open. Those who register early benefit from convenient online booking, avoid waiting times on-site, and can plan their trade fair visit optimally in advance. It is also worthwhile for exhibiting companies to already inform their customers and partners about the ticket purchase option: www.paintexpo.de/tickets.
