Eco-Design considers the environmental impacts of a product throughout its entire lifecycle – from raw material production through manufacturing to eventual disposal. The recycling experts of the Pöppelmann Group conduct intensive research into more sustainable solutions, such as reduced material use in production through resource-efficient product concepts and efficient manufacturing processes.

Closed material cycle with PÖPPELMANN blue®

Across divisions, the plastics specialist is committed to a completely closed material cycle through the company-wide initiative PÖPPELMANN blue®. As a plastics processing company, it sees it as its duty to design its products and processes as environmentally conscious as possible. Pöppelmann K-TECH® – Solutions for the automotive industry

The Pöppelmann K-TECH® division stands for technical plastic solutions, which have consisted of a high proportion of recycled material for over 25 years, e.g., battery housings that remain in the vehicle for many years. Currently, the business unit is working to completely close the material cycle for these products as well. Using the example of the holder SAM, Pöppelmann K-TECH® demonstrates how lightweight construction can be combined with functional integration and resource conservation.
