At the AMB, the international exhibition for metalworking (September 13 to 17, 2016, Stuttgart), Kögel GmbH is presenting two product innovations that significantly simplify the logistics and cleaning process of demanding industrial components. The flexible workpiece carrier system Techtray is suitable for both gentle transport and thorough cleaning of various parts. The transport trolley system Puros offers reliable protection even against tiny dirt particles and is designed for manufacturing under the highest cleanliness requirements.

Oberderdingen, 07/04/2016 - Workpiece carriers must meet high demands: they should be easy and reliable to handle, protect different component geometries safely from contamination and damage, and enable optimal coverage by the cleaning medium during part cleaning. Kögel has developed an intelligent solution for this with the new workpiece carrier family Techtray. The plastic system is available in various sizes and can be easily adapted to individual requirements using different pins and plug-in longitudinal and transverse dividers. Multiple levels of workpieces can also be stacked effortlessly.

The Techtray family is ideally suited for use in storage and stacking boxes as well as small load carriers with dimensions up to 600 x 400 millimeters. This allows even demanding components to be stored and transported gently. Users can also minimize the cleaning effort for their transport containers. Using RFID, barcode, or DataMatrix, the Techtray system can be easily integrated into the existing logistics cycle from production, cleaning, drying, assembly, order picking, storage, to delivery.

With the new cleanroom transport trolley system Puros, Kögel presents an innovative solution for protected transport and storage of sensitive products. The trolleys are suitable for use between different cleanroom areas and for cooling freshly cleaned components. They feature, among other things, a filter unit for supplying ultra-pure air and a special contamination protection during loading and unloading. Sensitive components can thus be stored and cooled under controlled recirculated air conditions, with even the smallest particles reliably shielded. The Puros system is used, among other industries, in the automotive industry and medical technology.
