Optimization of cleaning processes in theory and practice

FiT Seminar with practical training to ensure component cleanliness in Frankenthal, November 9 and 10, 2017

Part Component Cleaning aims to reliably and cost-effectively meet the cleanliness requirements resulting from subsequent processes. However, this can only be achieved through efficient quality control and requirement-oriented process optimization. The two-day seminar "Process Optimization" offers a qualification measure that imparts the necessary knowledge through lectures and practical exercises. It will take place on November 9 and 10, 2017, in Frankenthal.

Manufacturing processes such as coating, bonding, welding, and assembly require sufficiently clean components. This is the task of industrial part cleaning. In many industries, increasing demands for particulate and film cleanliness must be met. To ensure this both reliably and economically, quality-assuring systematic process management and optimization are indispensable. The FiT seminar "Process Optimization" conveys the necessary knowledge and qualification to monitor, control, and optimize cleaning processes from quality and economic perspectives. The two-day further training session will be conducted by fairXperts GmbH & Co. KG on November 9 and 10, 2017, at the Congressforum Frankenthal. To ensure maximum learning success, participation is limited to 40 persons.

Basics of Cleaning and Quality Assurance in Theory and Practice

On the first day, four lectures will initially cover the topics "Quality Assurance in Part Component Cleaning," "Chemistry of the Cleaning Process," "Monitoring of Cleaner Concentration," and "Control of Part Component Cleanliness," providing the fundamentals for efficient quality control. Following this theoretical part, four parallel practical sessions will take place in the afternoon. Experienced application engineers will present proven measuring devices and procedures for monitoring cleaning processes. Their use will then be demonstrated for tasks such as "Checking Part Component Cleanliness for Filmic and Particulate Contaminants," "Tenside Control," and "Builder Control." Participants will have the opportunity to gain initial experience with these devices.

Cleaning Technology – How It Works

The focus of the second day is on the mechanisms of cleaning action. Participants will be introduced to this through lectures on "Industrial Process and Plant Technology," "Ultrasound Cleaning Technology," and "Design of Components for Cleaning." Solution approaches and guidelines for practical and effective use will be presented. The theoretical seminar part will also be complemented by parallel practical sessions on the following topics: "Ultrasound," "Chemistry – Emulsifying and Demulsifying," and "Designing Cleaning Technology."

The seminar is aimed at specialists and managers from development, design, technology, production planning, manufacturing, and quality assurance in the automotive industry, mechanical engineering, metalworking, electrical engineering, electronics, precision mechanics, optics, medical technology, as well as surface and coating technology.
