On the occasion of the "13th Back Health Days," the Dauphin HumanDesign Group (DHDG) is once again launching the "Office Customized" campaign. Following the great success of the first round, the provider of complete solutions for the office sector has expanded the campaign for offices with a wellness factor in cooperation with specialist retailers. This gives even more companies the chance to receive free expert advice to improve their office spaces. Additionally, one participant will win a new office setup valued at over €10,000.

On the occasion of the "13th Back Health Days" on March 15, 2014, DHDG once again advocates for targeted improvements in work environments for people. After the great success of last year's campaign, the "Office Customized" mission is now entering its second round. In 2014, Dauphin, in cooperation with selected specialist retail partners, is giving even more companies the opportunity for personalized advice from a team of interior design experts.

Companies wishing to acquire a new office setup, create a productive wellness atmosphere for their employees, or ergonomically improve workplaces can apply online (see website address under Further Info) or via participation cards available from the manufacturer and participating retailers until the "Back Health Day" on March 15, 2014. More than 20 companies across Germany will be selected for free consultations from all applicants. Selection criteria include the on-site problem, potential improvements, and the company's ingenuity. Next year, various campaign teams will visit the selected companies and develop a free concept for their modern office redesign: DHDG will send the "Weber & Weber" experts, who supported last year's campaign with their expertise, to one applicant. Additional campaign teams, commissioned by participating retail partners, will visit the other selected companies.

The "Office Customized" planning includes an inventory of the current office situation and a detailed consultation with a non-binding, manufacturer-independent improvement concept for the individual redesign. The campaign teams pursue a holistic approach: interior architects and space designers develop a design concept for offices with an attractive ambiance, while ergonomics experts ensure body-friendly workspace equipment. "The first round of 'Office Customized' showed that many companies want to make changes but often don't know exactly where to start. With good planning and concrete suggestions, the crucial step is usually taken to create a motivating environment for employees," explains Bianca Weber, interior architect of the "Weber & Weber" campaign team, which will again support the campaign in 2014 with her expertise.

Among the visited companies, DHDG will also raffle off an office setup worth over €10,000. The winner will receive ergonomically suitable office swivel chairs, height-adjustable desks, adjustable monitor arms, and storage units.

Successful Campaign

The "Back Health Day" is organized annually by the "Backbone Action Association e.V." to promote active prevention of back complaints. Dauphin has been involved for the third time with an independent campaign to raise awareness about back health in the workplace.

During the first round of "Office Customized," five companies benefited from the opportunity to improve their offices with expert concepts. The "Weber & Weber" campaign team visited a variety of companies: from a garden center to the German branch of an international technology corporation. "The advice from the campaign team was very insightful for us. We learned a lot, especially about ergonomics at the workplace. We were especially surprised that simple means and small changes can often help work more efficiently and ergonomically," reports Dennis Mittelmann, Managing Director of TrendView GmbH.

The online marketing agency TrendView from Koblenz was delighted to win a new office setup worth over €10,000. The emerging company has relied on fresh ideas and customized concepts since its founding about seven years ago—a philosophy now reflected in their agency premises thanks to "Office Customized."
