Without microchips and electronic high-tech products, nothing works today, and the growth of this economic sector is currently rapid. The manufacturing of these components must meet the highest hygiene standards, and highly sensitive cleaning processes are required in a clean or sterile environment.

Integrated Dynamics Engineering GmbH (IDE) has established itself as a young, international company in the semiconductor industry as a manufacturer of mechatronic system technology. In the production facilities in Germany and the USA, more than 190 employees develop and produce sophisticated solutions for customers worldwide. The core competencies lie in the areas of machine dynamics, robotics, and mechatronics. In this core business, IDE is the number 1 worldwide. Due to the consistently increasing demand, IDE is currently expanding its cleanroom capacity at the headquarters in Raunheim (Hessen) from about 600 m² to an additional 1,000 m².

TKW Gebäudeservice GmbH (TKW) has been supporting IDE as a competent partner with a broad range of services for nearly ten years. Thanks to the flexibility and extensive expertise of the TKW service team, IDE is optimally supported in areas such as basic cleaning, glass cleaning, green space maintenance, janitorial services, technical cleaning of machine parts, and the highest form of cleanliness, cleanroom cleaning. This task demands high standards from the service provider, is one of the most sensitive and demanding tasks in building cleaning, and has been part of TKW's daily business for over ten years. At IDE, the TKW team ensures particle-free environments every evening after the regular day shift with carefully selected cleanroom clothing and special cleaning equipment. "From day one, we can measure the improvement in purity levels with our testing technology," says Martin Pronegg, Head of IT/ERP/Facility Management at Integrated Dynamics Engineering GmbH.

The cleaning procedure is very complex and requires the highest accuracy as well as a comprehensive understanding of the cleanroom. Even before starting work, attention must be paid to the correct dressing technique in the anteroom. All dirt particles on the body and clothing must first be removed before a person is allowed to enter the cleanroom. Equally important is the application of the correct cleaning techniques for ceilings, walls, floors, and furnishings, the appropriate use of cleaning agents and related cleaning equipment, as well as strict adherence to all legal regulations and DIN standards. The scope and frequency of cleaning in IDE's cleanrooms are tailored to their specific requirements.

The TKW service team plays an important role in the company's internal system processes.
